About
LLaVA, Large Language and Vision Assistant, is a multimodal model that connects a vision encoder to a language model through visual instruction tuning, enabling chat about images, charts, documents, and screenshots. Released in 7B and 13B sizes with the later LLaVA-NeXT improving reasoning and resolution handling, it is widely supported across runtimes and demos. Released under the Apache 2.0 license.
