Google Antigravity

Agents, not files, sit at the center of Google Antigravity, the company's agent-first development platform, available at no charge in public preview on Windows 10 or later, macOS 12 or later, and Linux distributions with glibc 2.28 or newer. The product family spans an agentic IDE, a CLI, a Python SDK, and the Antigravity 2.0 agent manager, a command center where multiple Gemini-powered agents run in parallel, each autonomously planning, executing, and verifying end-to-end software tasks across editor, terminal, and browser surfaces. Browser-in-the-loop control lets agents drive web applications to test their own changes, and finished work comes back as reviewable artifacts, implementation plans, walkthroughs, and screenshots rather than raw diffs, shifting the developer's job toward review. The preview includes generous rate limits on current Gemini models, with selected third-party and open models also selectable. The platform is proprietary and closed source; paid per-run hosting for managed agents is arriving through the Gemini API, while the desktop install itself stays free as Google's flagship bid for the agentic IDE market.
