SetFit by Hugging Face is a prompt-free framework for few-shot text classification that fine-tunes Sentence Transformers with contrastive learning, then trains a lightweight classification head. It reaches high accuracy from as few as eight labeled examples per class without prompts or a large language model, and is fast to train and run. Released under the Apache 2.0 license.
