About
GFPGAN by Tencent ARC is a face restoration model that repairs old, damaged, or low-quality face photos using a generative facial prior from a pretrained StyleGAN2. It restores realistic facial detail in a single pass and is often combined with Real-ESRGAN to upscale the surrounding image. A Python package and pretrained models are provided. Released under the Apache 2.0 license.
